The 2012 Awards...
2012 will be the eighth year for the Annual UK Paintball Awards with players, site owners and industry figures getting together for the traditional end of season black tie event. It's an opportunity for those who have contributed to UK paintball throughout the season to be recognised and for all to enjoy a social event that doesn't involve wearing camo!
The last two years have seen the event sell out with 200 people present for a fantastic evening in 2011.
The UK Scenario Paintball Awards are an annual event where those who have made a contribution to the UK game are thanked.
Throughout the season, UK players vote on a variety of catergories and at the end of the year these votes are totalled up to decide who the winners are.
The Awards are supported by the UK Scenario Forum and are 100% decided by the UK players.
Because the awards are 'Scenario' based, who wins is not particularly important, the fact that 200 guests all come along and have a fantastic evening is the driving force behind this event.
In recent years, the Awards has seen an explosion in the number of partners who attend. 40% of attendees in 2011 were non-paintball people who were accompanying their partners for the evening.
Whilst most attendees wear formal dress, the actual night itself is very relaxed and the very best advert for UK Paintball.
