Over the past seven years, there have been plenty of illustrious winners in the various categories. With the winners being voted for by their fellow players, they tend to be the teams or individuals who have gone the extra mile throughout the season and have stood apart from the rest. Players tend to look at a range of factors when deciding where their vote will go and it's not necessarily purely about what happens on the field of play. Factors such as off field contributions to the sport throughout the season and commitment to attending and support events are also often taken into account.
One thing that never changes, is the appreciation of the winners to have been recognised by their fellow players.
